LAKEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 33
The Byron Varsity Girls Basketball team opened their season with a dominating win beating Lakeville 50-33. The Eagles played strong defense and did not allow for many inside scoring opportunities and caused many Lakeville turnovers.
Jessica Marvin led the way with 14 points and 12 rebounds recording her first double-double of the year. Riley Gadola added 11 points and 4 assists, Greta L’Esperance had 10 points and 5 steals, Maylee Hatt had 7 points and 5 rebounds and Ashley Glass had 1 point, 2 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. It was a great all-around game and everyone scored at least one point during the game.
Byron is 1-0 on the season and travel to Brandon on Friday 12/2 for another non-conference matchup.
