DURAND HIGH SCHOOL: 45
The Byron Varsity Girls Basketball team played won a thrilling game vs. Durand 48-45 on Tuesday night. Both teams played a hard fought back and forth game but it was the Eagles coming in clutch from the free throw line going 11 of 13 in the 4th quarter that sealed the game.
Sophomore Maylee Hatt played the best game of her young career scoring 20 point and recording 16 rebounds. Senior Ashley Glass added 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists, Junior Riley Gadola added 8 points and 2 assists and Senior Jessica Marvin added 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
Byron's record is now 3-0 overall and host Bentley on Friday 12/9 to open GAC Blue conference play.
