NEW LOTHROP HIGH SCHOOL: 36
The Byron JV Girls Basketball team hosted New Lothrop for a non-conference match-up on Tuesday Night. The Lady Eagles fought back from an early 12-1 deficit to defeat the Hornets by a score of 42-36. The girls played great team basketball and were tough on defense preventing New Lothrop from taking easy shots.
Haley Hooley led the team scoring 22 points and recording 10 rebounds, Abby Glass added 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Lauren Viele chipped in 7 points.
The JV girls move to 3-2 on the season and host Montrose on Thursday night.
