Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball hosts Byron Invite

The Junior Varsity Volleyball team hosted a tournament featuring schools from all over the Flint/Saginaw area on Saturday August 27. The Eagles finished the day with a 1-3 record. In pool play Byron went 1-2 beating Morrice (25-11, 25-13) and losing to Fowlerville (25-15, 25-23) and Laingsburg (25-19, 25-22). Byron secured the 3rd place seed in the tournament and faced tough competition from eventually tournament runner-up Freeland. The team fought hard and played well but ended up losing in straight sets.
