Girls Freshman Volleyball Hosts Byron Invite

The Byron Freshman Volleyball team kicked off their season on a high note with a second place finish at the Byron Invite held on Saturday August 20. The team locked up the second seed in the tournament after finishing 2-1-1 in pool play. The girls beat Ovid-Elsie, tied with Owosso and a lost to Hartland. In bracket play the girls finished off a strong Owosso team in two sets before eventually falling to tournament champion Hartland in straight sets.
The team next play on Tuesday August 24 @ Lake Fenton.
