The Byron Middle School Girls Basketball team traveled to Corunna on Wednesday for their 9th game of the season. The 7th grade girls played a tough game but fell to Corunna. Mya foster led the way with ten points while Jaden Zakoor added eight points.
The 8th graders remain undefeated with a 54-10 win. The highlight of the game was Abby Thomas sinking a 10 foot shot in the 4th quarter. The Eagles made 26 team steals and forced 35 Corunna turnovers. Sarah Marvin had 10 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 assists to lead the balanced attack by Byron. Makayla Clement added 12 points, Julia Lane had 8 points, Allison Glass scored 7, Allison Hooley had 6 and MaryAnn Montgomery 5 points.
